About the school
Hispania Schools Montevideo is located in a completely renovated historical building from 1850 and with all the necessary facilities for optimal learning of Spanish. It is located in the Old City, close to the city center and surrounded by services, shops, restaurants and places of cultural interest such as the Port of Montevideo, the Mercado del Puerto, the Taranco Palace, the Puerta de la Ciudadela, the Salvo Palace , the Solís Theater and much more.
The school defines its teaching style as “total immersion”, in which students learn Spanish during classes but are completely immersed in the Uruguayan culture interacting both in classes, at home if they have chosen a host family and on all in the numerous cultural activities that the center offers (generally free).
The school consists of 9 spacious and bright classrooms (all with air conditioning and heating), a cinema room, a living room with sofas where you can relax during breaks, free coffee for students, a library and a roof terrace with incredible views of the city.
